Strategies every 517bet player should know
In Texas Hold'em, the five community cards are shared by everyone. Always consider what combinations your opponents might have before making a big bet.
Never bring more than 5% of your total balance to a single table. At 517bet, you can set deposit and session limits directly in your account settings.
Folding at the right time is just as important as betting. Experienced players lose less because they know when to let go of a bad hand instead of pushing through.
517bet offers daily freerolls with no entry fee. It's the perfect way to practice, gain experience in real tournaments, and still compete for cash prizes.
In online poker, the timing of actions says a lot. An opponent who hesitates before betting may be working out a bluff. Pay attention to betting patterns.
517bet poker was built for the demanding Brazilian player
Poker has never been this accessible to Brazilian players as it is today at 517bet. From BRL 5.00 tables all the way up to major tournaments with BRL 200,000.00 in prizes, the platform is built to accommodate every type of player — whether you've just learned the rules of Texas Hold'em or you're a veteran who lives off tournament earnings. What sets the 517bet from other platforms is precisely this range: you can start from scratch without feeling intimidated, while there's still plenty of challenge for those who already know what they're doing.
Texas Hold'em remains the flagship game in the poker room at 517bet, and for good reason. It's the variant everyone wants to learn, the one that dominates live tournaments, and the one with the highest table liquidity online in Brazil. But 517bet goes further: Omaha Hi-Lo draws players who want more complexity and bigger pots, while Sit & Go is perfect for anyone with a free hour looking for a fast, intense game.
The MTT tournaments at 517bet follow a fixed schedule that makes planning easy. The Sunday Special, held every Sunday at 7PM, is the most anticipated event of the week — with a R$ 100.00 buy-in and a guaranteed R$ 200,000.00 prize pool, it draws the best players in the country. For those who prefer smaller tournaments, the Saturday Semanal Brasileiro distributes R$ 25,000.00 with a buy-in of just R$ 30.00. And throughout the week, daily freerolls offer R$ 1,000.00 in prizes at no entry cost — ideal for practicing and, as a bonus, winning real money.

One of the biggest advantages of poker at 517bet is the smoothness of the payment system. You deposit via Pix in a matter of seconds, and the balance shows up in your account instantly. When you hit a prize, withdrawals are also processed via Pix and land in your account in under 2 minutes. For those who prefer other methods, the platform accepts boleto bancário, credit and debit cards, PicPay, Mercado Pago, and TED bank transfers through major banks — Nubank, Itaú, Bradesco, and Banco do Brasil. Everything in BRL, with no hidden exchange fees.
The rakeback at 517bet is one of the best in the Brazilian market. For cash game players, a portion of the rake is automatically returned every week, boosting the long-term return on your sessions. VIP members enjoy even better conditions, with progressive rakeback that grows with your volume of play. Combine that with weekly reload bonuses and monthly promotions, and you have a value proposition that's hard to ignore.
The mobile experience at 517bet deserves a special mention. The Android and iOS app was built specifically for poker — with an expanded interface, intuitive gestures for betting, raising, or folding, and notifications that alert you when your tournament is about to start or when it's your turn to act. Many Brazilian players prefer to play on their phones during lunch breaks or on the subway, and 517bet makes sure that experience is just as good as playing on a computer.
517bet also takes game security and integrity seriously. The entire poker system uses RNG — random number generator — certified by independent bodies, ensuring the card shuffle is completely unpredictable. No bots are permitted, and the platform features an anti-collusion system and suspicious pattern detection to protect every participant. You can play knowing you're always at a fair table.
If you haven't played at 517bet, now is the perfect time to create your account. Daily freerolls are the ideal entry point: no risk, you learn how the platform works, get a feel for tournament pace, and still have a shot at winning your first real-money prize.
